Welcome to the NEW Preston Supporters Group (PSG) website, www.psg.me.uk.

The 2004/05 season sees PSG going into it’s fifth year, and just as the football club we are progressing – slowly, the presence of this website is evidence of that. Furthermore, our membership numbers are continuing to rise also.

PSG has grown in stature nationally since last season, with our chairman (Geoff Ollerton) being elected to the Football Supporters Federation National Council and with several of our committee members also attending Northern Division meetings of the FSF we are becoming quite well known. This, we think, also puts PNE ‘on the map’ and raises the clubs profile amongst other supporter groups.

We have kept to our word and organised a good number of Fans’ Forums throughout the last twelve months, these are always popular and draw big attendances.

Our magazine PSGNEWS is improving all the time and we are now seeking to widen our network of readers. The publication has moved on from being a photocopied two/three page effort on plain paper to a glossy twenty-page magazine with good content both informative and funny. We have regular contributors to the magazine but would always welcome more. The magazine is free to PSG members and is sent out about every two/three months. Archive copies of the PSG newsletters can be found in our members section.

The PSG end of season ‘Fans’ Night Out’ was held at the Masonic Hall in Preston, it was once again very well attended (just over 200) and the management team and playing squad from the club also turned out in full – well almost. We have already booked the same venue for the end of this season and the date is Saturday 16th April. We are seeking donations to the ‘end of season’ raffle and welcome all offers. We have recently received a set of garden football goals from Quickplay which are suitable for players of all ages as well as a spa day at the Spa Hotel in Preston and a ‘driver experience day’ from Red Letter Days.

*We have recently set up an ‘information point’ on Lowthorpe Road right opposite the old ticket office. We are there for an hour before kick off on match days for any info’ etc on events/forums, and also to take in any new memberships.”
