ANOTHER SHOCKER

Wednesday 7th March 2012

Posted by crusader

I remember at the forum that PNE staged with chairman Ridsdale where he stated that the game against Stevenage was some of the worst football he had ever seen. What did he do? He sacked our then manager and took on the opponents boss, one Graham Westley. So if Mr Ridsdale has been watching since then he has certainly watched quite a lot of even worse football than that of Saturday 10th December.

Last nights game was no different, it was another shocker of a match with little or no skill whatsoever. True any new boss needs time but any boss (usually) will tell you that players will only be brought in if they are better than the ones already here. In our case I would suggest that not one of Mr Westley's signings so far fits this criteria.

As the manager tells us we have had four clean sheets in our last seven games, what he fails to remind us is that we have scored just three times in those games - a pathetic return by any ones standards - and when we have conceded in those seven games it hasn't been the odd goal but two 2's and a 3.
